Rev. Dr. Derek W. H. Thomas, a native of Wales, is the Chancellor’s Professor of Systematic and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary and a Teaching Fellow with Ligonier Ministries. Dr. Thomas pastored churches in Wales and the United States of America, most recently he served as a Senior Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. He holds a doctorate in theology from the University of Wales (Lampeter). He has published more than twenty books, one of which, Job: The Storm Breaks, has been translated into Polish. He and his wife, Rosemary, have two grown children and two grandchildren, and two dogs named Luther and Gracie-Spangles.  He is passionate about classical music and opera.
